Clutches

Hey guys I was just wondering if you guys had a insight on which is better single mass dual mass flywheels and brands of clutches I'm thinking I might get this truck this weekend and incase I ever need a clutch I'd like to know sooner than later about it

I liked the SBC Con-O that I put in my 94. It was smooth with a light pedal and I really didn't have problems with about 75k on it. Other guys like the Luk stuff and others like the ValAir. On top of all that, I've read posts regarding problems (like chattering, etc) with any of them. That's not a lot of help, however! I'm sure you will get other opinions. Cheers!

I've had a LuK for about 30K now and I love it. Very little gear roll-over noise at low speed. The difference between a SMF and DMF is night and day. Best mod I ever did was going to a SMF.

1997 F250 CCSB w/126K miles. Bean Stage 1s, TW 6 Position Chip, Tymar Intake, 3" DP, 4" exhaust with cat delete, ZF5, SMF, LuK Clutch, 4:10s, ISSPRO Gauges, HPX

Should be a "C" for a ZF 5-speed and "E" for the E4OD Automatic. You should have a ZF S5-42 from the factory. Cheers!
