IDM mod

I will be doing the IDM mod to my 96 powerstroke next week and post my thoughts after doing it.

After I test it and see how long it takes I am confident that I will be able to do this mod for others that aren't sure if they can do it them selves. So if you are interested and have an IDM 100 or 110 let me know becuase I had to order 10 reistors so I will have 9 extra. If I see a big enough interest I will order more resistors and use the profits to fund my 96 build up.

It raises the voltage to the injector solenoids. It provides quicker throttle response and a noticeably better idle.

You have to remove a resistor and re-solder a different one in it's place. Check out the link for pics, it makes it easier to understand. I wouldn't try it if you haven't soldered electrical components before. The hardest part is removing to old solder and resistor.

I did mine this afternoon and am very happy with the results. I'm going to try and make up some detailed instructions later this week. it was a little harder to do than I thought but it was worth it.

Let me know if anyone wants some 75k resistors or want to send me theres to get modded.
