How Much Boost?

How much boost does your OBS make. With the mods in my sig I hit 21 psi just punching it on the street from 40 to 60 mph. I expected around 15 max out of the OBS.

Before I opened my exhaust to a 4" strait pipe with a 3" DP, I could hit that with the chip on high.

Now, I only see 15 psi while towing.

When I get new injectors that will be a different story.

So why am I hitting it with a wide open exhaust? 3'' dp, 4'' section(short), 5'' all the way from under cab to stacks.

I can hit 26 psi with my truck with all the mods listed in my sig

Pull the chip off and you will see those numbers.

JFines you should only get moreboost with your exhaust done, since it relieves backpressure letting the turbo spool quicker and higher.

Mine was making over 50....... then i took the chip and nitrous off and now it only makes half that

Mine only makes 45 in the daily driver setting, what did you do to this chip Tony? lol I really need headstuds

Stroked what have you done to your truck??? What tunes do you have? You make a whole lotta boost there! I hope I can do the same.
Ever dyno your truck? or drag it?

i have a stock 96er, 5psi @ 65mph. the best i have been able to do is 16psi.
