OBS PCM to new model PCM

I was reading in the new Diesel Power Mag and came across an article about putting a newer model PCM in the OBS trucks. I was wondering if anyone had done this and had any results or had some knowledge to share?

There are a few on here, From what I understand they allow the tuner to be able to do a more precise tune. Equaling more power with lower egts..

It also has a faster CPU and much faster processing through the board. Cary at CT Performance has done it but says that it is really not worth the outcome unless you go big.

Oh ok sweet! I am trying to get my truck to 700HP, going to take awhile but was just wondering. What all do you have to do to switch it out? I did not know if you drop a new one in and go or if there is come steps to it?

Hope you have 25-30k to spend. And not be upset when someone with stage 1's and a auto kills ya.

Send a message via Skype™ to kendallcschm
if you drop a newer PCM in then could you use an edge insight on it and does it come with OBDII capability?
