Best affordable programmer?

I was just wondering what the best programmer would be for a '95. Not looking to spend over like $400-$500, but I do have a shop here who can get one to me for basically at cost. Looking mainly for a performace setting and fuel economy setting. Truck has intake, 3" downpipe into 4" straight pipe, and a TS 6-position. Just looking for a little more speed (I know 7.3s aren't designed to be fast, lol), and some fuel economy if possible. Thanks in advance!

If you have a ts chip, why don't you get some custom tunes and be done. I thought a chip would override a program any ways. I could be wrong though

that t/s chip over rides or conflicts with any programmer you may run. In my opinion, i would call up Bill at PHP and get one of his t/s style chips. Bills been in this thing since there were "powerstrokes"...he knows his stuff. Just tell him how your truck is set up and what you have in mind...he'll send you the best programs for your app. The Php chip will out perform the canned t/s any day and its easier on your trans if you have an auto. I've had both and the PHP wins hands down. Price was $300ish shipped with your 6 custom tunes unless they've went up.
