1.0 turbo housing

I have received my 1.0 turbo housing today and I was wondering if there was a write up on how to remove the old and install the new. I know its a lengthy project for removing the early 7.3 turbos, but id like to do it right since it my first turbo project to tackle. any help would be great. thanks

I was thinking about doing this mod to my truck but im not sure yet. Is it true ill get less smoke with the smaller housing? I know that shouldnt be the biggest concern but i barely get any as is and thats my favorite part about a diesel, watchin it roll some coal.

ive learned recently from another thread that if you run bigger injectors like stage 1's and the 1.0 housing you'll still be able to roll some coal

Let me know how the 1.0 housing works with the stage 1's. I have been thinking of going back to a 1.0. I kinda regret not trying the smaller housing while it was on, instead of going back to stock when I upgraded the injectors.

I would not reccomend using the 1.0 housing with stage 1 injectors. The 1.0 will give you a quicker spool up with STOCK injectors and a chip but once you use the smaller housing with bigger injectors, plan on buying a new tranny. Its reccommended on many sites to keep the stock housing with stage 1's or bigger, i should have listened.
