Arrow Water/Meth Big Questions I'd love some help

So, I have decided on CoolingMist stage 1 deluxe kit coming in at $305 as the best bang for the buck and from many recommendations that their pumps actually do what they're supposed to do.

My questions:

1. For strictly EGT control purposes is a water/meth completely safe for my engine given that I do not goof on the installation and install a shunt valve so water doesn't leak into my cylinders? I would most likely be runnin' distilled or filtered water to keep particles out of the engine.

2. I have heard about runnin' the water/meth pre-turbo over the post-turbo may be more beneficial from a few friends and from a video I shall reference. Is there any major/minor difference in runnin' pre-turbo or post turbo?

3. If I do decide to run water/meth from windshield washer fluid, is there anything I should watch out for? I am a bit nervous about the whole puttin' water into my engine but from watching videos and readin' stuff makes sense since I'm injecting a fine mist. I sure do want the reassurance from people who have had or has experience runnin' water/meth.

4. I may be takin' a bunch of precautions and sound a bit paranoid, is it necessary to install the shunt valve and use filtered water? And since we're injector WATER into the cylinders, am I gonna see some rust if I take the apart the engine in the future? From my logic, I don't think I'd see rust since the water has already evaporated and didn't have to chance to sit on the cylinders and eat away.

I do not know the answer to all of your questions but I know at least this much. Your concern about rust is not a problem. As you stated the water evaporates and does not leave any moisture behind. Also I have heard from people that run the kits that they shut off the kit a few miles before where they are going as to make sure any and all water has evaporated. Hope this helps some.

I ran the same kit on my old OBS and it worked great.
I ran mine post turbo so I don't know anything about running pre turbo, never even thought about it.
as has been stated rust isn't an issue, the stage one kit uses a boost reference switch so you don't have to worry about any water in the system when you stop unless you are beating on it the same time you shut it off!
distilled water is a good idea, but I used to run plain old tap water if I didn't have access to the good stuff.
windshield washer fluid does give it a nice kick in the pants, just make sure you get the plain stuff and not the stuff with a bunch of additives.

I assume you are talking about the water, there are lots of places to get it from but I tow over some pretty long pulls and would use ALOT of water, I ran a 8 gallon tank and sometimes would drain it pretty quick so I would use whatever I could get.
I like to pass uphill pulling a trailer.

90% of what I've read says post turbo is best pre turbo you're taking a chance of a large drop(s) messing with the turbo.
