Intercooler/spyder?
I picked up an intercooler pretty cheap and just picked up a spyder from a junkyard for $50. Its off of an intercooled 7.3 but not sure what year. Will this work for me and what should i do about the extra holes for extra sensors? Do i just plug them off with some short bolts?

So i think i fudged up and answered my own question, only early 99 will work, right? Right were it comes off the turbo is larger on later models and unfortunatly thats what i bought for $50. Can anyone confirm this for me before i even try to return it to the scrap yard?

Yes, you will need a spider from an early 99. And you are correct. The later ones have a larger turbo connection. You can buy one new from Powerstrokeshop.com

Anyone know if the 6.0 intercooler tubes will work or do i need the 7.3 tubes?
found a 6.0 in a scrap yard with good intercooler and tubes. Also what do i need for brackets? |

You could get the larger diameter intake plenums... that would work with the bottom of the spider.
They are 13 mm bolts... you'll also need a 13 mm wrench - for the one by the front cover. |

I believe i have the right spyder now. Has the smaller diameter i need. Only has two nipples on the pipes going to the motor and in the middle of em has one electrical conector. Do i remove these and plug them off? The 6.0 in the scrap yard has all good intercooler parts. So im deff buying the 6.0 intercooler. Now i just need pipes and brackets. Do the 6.0 pipes work or do i need 7.3 pipes? Also what will be needed for brackets? Should i buy the brackets off the 6.0?
