Max HP without going deep into the internals of my engine..
I was just wondering what the max hp is that I can get out of my truck without losing any relaibility? (this would be for almost pure driving pleasure, no pulling, other than the occasional 9000lb trailer) I would love to get to 450. (stge 2, TW chip, D66 turbo, plus all of the supporting mods)? Just trying to get my feet wet

i wouldnt recommend anything larger than stage 2's for a fun reliable truck. When i went to stage 3's all i did was start breaking parts and lots of 'em.

You need to let us know more about your truck.
Year for one. If you have PMR's you don't want to go more than 400hp for sure. |

I guess I never did fill out my sig here. It's all filled out over at the other main ford diesel site. Anyway I'll have to get to that. 96 F250 ext cab. short bed 5spd. 3'' DP and tymar intake done. Plans on Dana 60 (if I don't just buy a 97 f350), guages, stage 2's, TW chip, D66 turbo, fuel pump are tops on the list. Not really in that order. What will that get me? oh and a clutch.
