Wow, you guy's are really out there. I know these questions will sound stupid to you all, but I am just a plain ol driver of a 96 F-250 7.3 with no mods at all. I have purchased a power module that wires into the Ignition Control Pressure sensor and is then regulated with a small dial knob to be installed on the dash. This is supposed to increase mileage and power by turning the dial up, or down. I also purchased a remote starter kit by (DATASTART Hybrid). My regular mechanic will not install either because he says the power module will burn out the pressure pump and the remote starters do nothing but cause all kinds of problems. Although it would be nice to get a little nore mileage at $4 (or more) a gallon for diesel, for the amount I drive this truck I would have to drive it a long time to pay for a $500 chip. Any suggestions?
