Chipping the powerstroke

hey guys,
this might be a stupid question but I am looking at getting a ts 6 postion chip for my 95. Ive been looking online and i've found them but what is the difference between a 4 bank 6postion and a 6 postion chip.... or is there any difference other than price. I've never heard of the 4 bank one, so i was seeing if any of you knew what that was about.

It has 4 positions opposed to 6 positions, look into custom tuning for it while your at it

Wrong.

A six position chip is a six position chip whether it's listed as "4-bank" or not. The "bank" reference just denotes what portions of the operational binary code are stored on the chip.

All modern-day multiple position chips are going to be 4-bank.
