You have 202K+ on the stock tranny?

More than likley it will go out VERY soon after you put the injectors in.

It is better to get the Tranny BEEFED up BEFORE adding anymore power like that.

id like to know about it though because i just have a factory reman in the truck now and i want to do a set of diy stage 1 injectors but i dont know what to do to the trans. I figure a valve body, TC and some type of a control module but im not sure or real savvy when it comes to a trans aka slush box

Guys GUYS GUYS!

It is ALL DEPENDANT upon your right foot.

You beat on it, and it's going to fail.

If you drive normally it'll last just as long as if you had stock injectors.

My truck had 100+k being chipped... and 5 days at 400+ rwhp. Bangs between 1st and 2nd and sometimes into O/D only at WOT - if it's driving normally it still works just fine...

For about a week to 2 weeks it'll be seeing 450+ and a track run... after that the BTS shoudl be here.

Maintain,

You are comparing 4R100 to the E40D, The 4R100 has quite a few upgrades to beef it up compared to the E40D.

Like I said, with over 200K on the truck, I would be concerned with the Transmission if you are putting anymore power to it.

Actally, I would be concerned about it in STOCK TRIM with over 200K!!!

i bought it with 182,000 and it shifts great and does have some kind of shift kit in it. and i drive it daily on my tow setting and it works great. so as far as it being worn out, i dont think thats the case. It also may of been rebuilt or something like that also.
