Turbo Upgrades

Hello Im a newbie here. Im looking to do a turbo upgrade on my 94 F-250 and Im not planning to do a injector upgrade. Ive read on here recently about changing my stock housing to a smaller housing like a .84 or a 1.0 to make it spool faster. Any idea which one to go with and where I could get one from. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

I ran a 1.0 housing from Banks. I highly recommend them on stock injector trucks. Spool is about 500 rpm quicker and max boos is higher. They are great for towing. Check with our sponsors for the best prices.

ok i dont know everything to be known, but how does a smaller turbo housing help with quicker boost spooling. Just seems like to me a bigger housing would be better. I've heard alot about 1.0 housings and do they make the whistle out the exaust louder????
