haulin, mod recomendations

I haul pretty heavy with my 97 7.3 automatic and was lookin for more more. Right now it has a DIY air intake, edge evolution, stock down pipe to 4" pipe to a 5" stack. What kind of set ups would you recomend with a $2000 budget. I was thinking DIY injector and some custom tunes and a new down pipe will probly keep me happy, am i right? Wich injectors should i go with, stage I or stage II from rosewood? I haul heavy but like to hot rod around and show off alittle, im still young. Or am i on the totaly wrong path of ideas for that budget?

I would do the 3 inch dp and get gauges before anything else. Also a good chip like tony wildman for your obs will do wonders over the evolution. Try that first before injectors

That's good advice!

You'll want to upgrade the tranny before injectors if you want to pull.

Tranny is already fresh and upgraded very heavy, gauges are already in. Edge evo is up for sale and custom tunes in order but i still fell this wont give me enough. She is pretty gutless on the hills towing.

Get that stock downpipe out of there, that thing is choking your motor off more than you know. Custom tunes and stage 1's with a good downpipe will make a world of difference. If you want to do stage 2 injectors,I would probably plan on doing a IC and maybe even a turbo upgrade. But most importantly,,,change that downpipe,,you'll notice a good gain out of just doing that. So your looking at $200 or less for the downpipe,$500 for DIY stage 1's, and $300 to $500 bills for a custom chip.
