Intercooler selection

I found a salvage yard local to me that has several 7.3 and 6.0 trucks. The 7.3 intercoolers are $150 and the 6.0 are $200. My question is basically which one should I get? Its only a $50 difference but I have heard that the 6.0 cooler only makes like a 50* difference if that. Any insight is appreciated.

The 6.0 cooler is obviously more efficient, but you can get the 7.3 one with metal ends and not have to worry in a high boost application of blowing the end off

I would go with the cheaper 7.3 Cooler with the metal end caps. Some of the later 7.3s have plastic caps like the 6.0 Which blow caps after 40psi

Is the subway trucks? Do you know if they have 6.0 fans?
