what to look for in a new tranny
well it looks like i'm in the market for a new e40d. Mine didnt like to shift between 1 and 2 so we took the pan off and found alot of stuff stuck to the magnet. it doesnt look like metal fillings but it has to be fine metal dust since its stuck to the magnet. so what should i be looking for in a new one. I was gonna put a shift kit and bigger pan on this one. i use my truck for towing once in awhile. i dont plan on going too crazy with mods, maybe bigger injectors and a bigger hpop. also what are some good dealers to get one from? I'm also gonna get a trans temp gauge for my new one.
