1997 cali truck injectors

So I am getting ready to do some injectors on my 97 PSD with downpipe, intake, and exhaust. I know it currently has the split shots and I am planning to do software and injectors at the same time.

I've read and researched the forums but remain confused as to which way to go. I don't plan to get too crazy with the truck; intake, injectors, wildman chip, exhaust, and possibly a turbo and intercooler down the road.

Any advice on what to do for a cali truck with the split shots; and more importantly why?

The injectors you have are 120 CC and should make great power with a good chip. Gauges are a must and an intercooler would be nice. You will want to consider tranny upgrades as well. You could upgrade to stage 1's if you don't want to go too wild. The stock turbo will be fine for the stage 1's. You can go with an aftermarket turbo if you want.

I would just stick with the injectors you have and do everything else first. You should be happy with the power for enough time to decide how far you want to take it.

If it's a Cali truck, it should have a California Emissions Compliance sticker under the hood. (I think)

Does the sticker on the driver side of the valve cover tell you what type of injectors you have?

It's probably a Cali truck, but I'm not 100% sure. I have never seen one, personally. If it is, you have 120cc splitshots.
