WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GUT THE CAT (HOW AND DOES IT MAKE IT ACT LIKE A OPEN PIPE)? I HAVE A DIAMOND EYE 4" ALUMINIZED PIPE TO PUT ON AND I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE TO PUT THE CAT BACK ON. DON'T WANT TO, JUST WANT TO PUT THE MUFFLER ON. IF I HAVE TO WHAT DO YOU DO TO THAT CAT TO CLEAN HER UP? THANKS 1996 F250 8FT 4X4 AUTO

Take it off the truck, stand it on it's end and take a long metal bar and shove it down the pipe and break the livin snot out of the guts until every last piece comes out. Reinstall.

You don't, buy a delete pipe, they are cheap, and if you ever need to throw a cat back on again you will have a spare.
