Same Boost After TW Chip???

My truck would max out at 17psi of boost with Exhaust and Intake. But i was alittle disapointed with my boost numbers after my TW Chip. I was still only making 17 pounds. I have checked for up-pipe leaks and cant see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Love the Forum BTW!

I can definately tell a difference, especially in Extreme. But I has all stock tuning before this. It runs good, just seems low on boost. Only thing I've noticed is the turbo wheel seems to be dusted pretty good, could this cause this issue?

Have you pressurized the system and checked for leaks? There are only a few spots it could leak on an OBS, but any boost leak at all will be noticeable.

A D-66 is down the road. But for the time being, i think a turbo rebuild and a Wicked Wheel 2 is in order
My boost gauge is tapped into the intake spyder, so it should be good.
How would i go about pressurizing the system to check for leaks?

you might want to check this out before you spend any $$$ on a stock rebuild..... :

This guy was talking about rebuilding your stock turbo with a 66mm intake side, a Billet Wheel, and using the 360 degree thrust for around $600.00 bux...hellova deal.

Anyone interested in a DYI Billet 66mm OBS-E99 Kit - PowerStrokeArmy

Just Google the term boost leak tester. There are many write-ups on how to make one. It is cheap and easy.
