TURNING IN FUEL SCREW?

I WAS JUST READING THE MARCH DIESEL POWER AND THEY DID AN ARTICLE ON HOW TO GET POWER USING HAND TOOLS OUT OF AN OLD DODGE (WHILE WAITING FOR PARTS). THEY TURNED THE FUEL SCREW IN ON THE INJECTOR PUMP (I SEE THAT THEY ADDED NEW INJECTORS) AND THIS ALLOWED THEM 70HP WITH 98 FT/TQ. NOW WE TURNED UP OUR INJECTOR PUMP ON THE CASE INTERNATIONAL 7130 MAGNUM HALF A TURN AND THAT ADDED 50HP (STOCK INJECTORS). I HAVE A 96 F-250 AUTO 4X4 7.3L WITH EDGE EVO, BALDWIN PA2818, 4" TURBO BACK , COULD I TURN IN THE FUEL SCREW? HAS ANYONE DONE THIS? I HAVE STOCK INJECTORS (NOT LOOKING AT ADDING NEW INJECTORS), ALSO HOW FAR DO I TURN IN THE SCREW BEFORE I ADD TO MUCH FUEL ( SO ENGINE STARTS AND HAVE TO CHOKE WITH BOX OR 2X4 AGAINST TURBO)? IF THIS IS FREE HP I WANT IT BUT I ALSO DON'T WANT TO PAY THE PRICE OF HURTING THE COMPONENTS OF THE TRUCK (JUST DROPPED IN NEW TRANNY 2000 MILES AGO). IS IT EASY TO GET TO THE FUEL SCREW IN THE 96' 7.3L?

You dont have a fuel screw to turn in. Your edge programmer essentially did that for you. The reason they could do that on that dodge is it was an old mechanical injected motor
