OBS turbo options

OK, I know this has been discussed tons of time but i want to clarify some things and ask some questions. Got the 5 speed swap done in my truck and had Tony reburn my chip. Truck runs incredible, but the smoke and EGT's are COMPLETELY out of control on anything above economy. Definitly looking into boost leaks, but what are turbo options? H2E is damn expensive but i dont want to just get a smaller housing and run out on top either. Truck is a toy but also a DD. What has to be done to put a T4 mount on these trucks?

Thanks

Besides the D66 from Bean's diesel I don't know of a drop in turbo for our trucks. The H2E is expensive since it replaces most of the exhaust, pedestal, and depending who you buy it from some of the intake. The H2E is a fair priced unit if you see all that it comes with.

ok ill look into the H2E some more. What about just buying whatever I need (T4 mount, up-pipes, etc? from what I understand that would allow me to run almost any turbo i wanted so im not back to square one if I dont like the H2E. I basically just want to change the set-up so im not confined to one thing

My truck runs awsome on stock turbo with stage 1's. EGTs are normal and smoke is minimal, unless i get on it.

TW tunes from Tony or one of his vendors?? Sounds like a tuning issue to me...

If your on a budget you could possibly find a 99.5+ turbo and assembly at a junk yard. I'm not sure what else you would have to get for that to work though. That would be an improvement and should work just fine for stage 1s.

99.5 turbo is a backwards move...your stocker is much better.

A H2e will work great with stage 1's up to mid sized Hybrids..so from 350hp to over 600. We have a complete kits.

That said do you have guages....whats your boost?
Your truck shouldn't be smoking excessively.
