spr screen is it needed?

So I took my fpr off to clean the screen and do the bb mod ( have some injectors failing cct so decided I should look into fuel pressure first before droping the cash on new ones). when I pulled it there wasnt a screen in there. How bad is it to run without one? I had ford order me the oring and screen kit but its $26 and if I dont need it id rather save every penny right now.

i will say after the bb mod truck is running way way way better! lots more smoke on the 100hp tune hardly any hesitation now too.

Should have it in there.
How many miles are on your injectors? It is the one thing on these trucks that will eventually fail due to normal wear, lots of moving parts in them

It's a filter basically, and for only $26 you better keep it in there, that's cheap insurance to keep fuel clean along with the fuel filter

throw the whole damn filter - pump junk away and put E-Fuel on it.
