deciding on performance parts

im about to be picking up a psd with 295k on her. im wondering what mods i can do to it without any serious money. im thinkin ts 6pos chip, 3"dp with 4" straight pipe out in front of rear wheel, and an afe intake. 1st diesel so let me know what you all think!

It would be a great idea to get gauges too. Instead of using an afe, you could go to your local napa and order a 6637 air filter. You'll need to get some 4 in pipe for it to work

Is all this ad ons ok for a truck with this many miles though?

If you want to add mods, you NEED gauges to monitor certain things on the truck to make sure you don't make her go boom. Plenty of reading here on the forum about which gauges you should get, which brands, etc.
The 6637 is just a disposable paper element many of us run instead of a washable element like the AFE. Search DIY intake, Tymar intake, or 6637 for all the reading you'd ever want.

Isspro and autometer are good. There are others like glowshift but its up to you. Whatever you want to spend
