FPR mod

So I did the fpr mod with a BB and I'm not sure i like it. I can't tell anything other then a little more smoke and the fact that it acts weird. It seems like it starts worse then it did before. My OSI went from 52-71. Should i just take it out and say forget about it and just wait for my e fuel?

Unlimited Diesel told me that the California FPR spring is a much better fix for fuel pressure than adding a BB. I was told the pressures are much more consistent throughout the power band. I added one a couple years ago and I'm happy.

I am original owner of 97 Extended Cab 4x4 with 86,000 miles, Unlimited Diesel 175/30 Stage 1.5 Injectors, ATS Intercooler, Tony Wildman 6 Position Chip, 4" Turbo Back Diamond Eye Exhaust, Stealth SPR1 HPOP, Wicked Wheel 2, Hypermax Combo Boost/EGT Gauge, DIY Intake, FPR Mod, CCV Mod, IDM Mod, 203 degree T Stat, Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover Line, Fitch Fuel Catalyst, 40,000 lb. Trucool Max Transmission Cooler. Next up a Bean's D-66, electric fuel, torque converter and a valve body.

Well I am just going to keep the fpr mod in until I do e fuel, but I dont know if it was just that I got used to it or it got better but I dont notice an idle or startup problem anymore.

Did this mod to my 96 yesterday. Lost ~3-4 mpg and no noticable noteworthy "gain" taking it out tomorrow morning.
