FPR mod

So I did the fpr mod with a BB and I'm not sure i like it. I can't tell anything other then a little more smoke and the fact that it acts weird. It seems like it starts worse then it did before. My OSI went from 52-71. Should i just take it out and say forget about it and just wait for my e fuel?

Unlimited Diesel told me that the California FPR spring is a much better fix for fuel pressure than adding a BB. I was told the pressures are much more consistent throughout the power band. I added one a couple years ago and I'm happy.

Here's the part number:

"California" Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit (contains spring, valve spool & new brass plug)
(Ford) F6TZ-9K061-AA

Just a data point: Tousley Ford Parts online has it for $24.56 (list is $37.22)
Cheers!

Did this mod to my 96 yesterday. Lost ~3-4 mpg and no noticable noteworthy "gain" taking it out tomorrow morning.
