just wanted to brag on my new chip!

So today I got my ts 6 pos installed ( stock hi idle 50 75 100 anti theft) flipped it to 100 and was wondering who flipped on the nitrous! I already have a intake 4in exhaust with a 6in tip ( stock dp) cleaned up fuel boul and new filter and a bosot gauge. The TS tunes are awesome, this is my first diesel but not my first tuned vehical. I was really impressed with how fast the turbo spools now before I could hit 15psi on a good pull in 3rd or 4th now it take now work at all even on the 50hp tune on the 100 i actually hit 19-20lbs easy. Next week im getting an egt guage and fuel pressure too and im looking for a good deal on a new down pipe.

anyway just wanted to brag I love my truck!

Just be careful with that chip on a stock DP with no pyro gauge. U could be getting things VERY hot and u would never know it. I would keep it on the lowest HP setting or even stock untill u get one of the 2 things..... preferably both.

Agreed, you def need both, and as for a dp, I went with cptrucks.com, $100 to my door, there are cheaper that I've heard of tho

I know I need to get them at least pyro and quick, honestly I know the dp is restrictive but with 4in after it it really shouldnt be flowing to badly. Im not saying that im nt going to change it I jus thave other priorities first if the pyro shows good egts then that will give me a little more time as well. Ive got an intercooler sitting in the garage just waiting on my piping that will also help a lot.

That down pipe IS that restrictive even with 4" after it. Its like kinking a water hose and flowing the remains into a 4" sewer pipe... its still all back up b4 the kink..

Just dont delay on the egt gauge and dont push your truck or make WOT runs untill u do.
