Barder Turbo, stock 66mm build

i figured i would post this for yall, very cool idea, moding the stock turbo similar to a D66.

Kit would include the Following:--
--Machined Compressor Cover
--Machined Backing plate
--Billet 66mm x 88mm Extended Tip Compressor Wheel
--360 Thrust Bearing Conversion with compressor side piston ring seal
--Compressor housing to backing plate O-ring
--Backing Plate to Bearing housing O-Ring-4 Viton Pedestal O-Rings

Cost would be in the $700 range plus core. (Your old compressor housing and backing plate)
available as a DIY or send it in for rebuild.

I believe this upgrade could flow 1000+ cfm, If used on light injectors should be a great, reliable, rebuildable unit.

(i do not work for Barder Turbo Service, i am simply sharing a great idea and a good deal)

Pictures of New Wheel.....

here's some comparison pictures of this new Barder Wheel...and it IS his own design, not something somebody else has conjured these pix, it is compared to another Billet Wheel that is available for the 38r turbo.

You can see that the blades are longer, and the center "Spindle" is smaller, and has a smaller nut (14mm instead of 18mm)... I personally think this wheel is gonna be an Air-Shredding Sumagun, and am going to have one as soon's I can...

you can get them here : Barder Turbo Service, Elizabethville, PA 17023 , 717-919-7423,

oh, and I don't work for them either, I called him and yakked with him a bit, and liked what I heard......

Enjoy :
