just bought truck with programer on it

okay i just bought a 96 with a f5 dp tuner and have no clue what the tunes are is there anyway to find out or do i just keep guessing so far i figured 5 is most performance and 2 is high idle and guessing 1 is stock so any help would be good plus sadly i think my truck might have something wrong with it cause it feels like it has no top end when im in any stage other than 5 maybe something wrong with programer or i really dont know thanks for the help guys

Have you asked the previous owner? You could always send it in to find out the tunes, or have it reprogrammed, I'm not sure if dp-tuner would keep customer info like that on file, good luck tho, and in the tow tunes typically they are designed to de-fuel at higher rpm/speed to keep egt's down

thanks guys that helps alot and ya the tow tune now starting to make alot of sense, well now that i figured out what im going to do to the truck im probably going to just pick another programer with new tunes after i get some work done to it! this is my first powerstroke and i want it to make good power and be very reliable haha thanks again guys
