Trans cooler install

finally gonna get around to putting my new trans cooler on i got the true cool max 40000 btu cooler seems alot of guys run that one i am going to mount it behind the bumper so if i want to install an intercooler in the future it will be out of the way my only question is i have SD fog lights i am installing in the holes in the bumper and just wanted to know is anyone else running the same thing didnt know if it would affect airflow enough to make a difference or not and would it be necessary to install a fan on a thermostat for the cooler or is the trucks fan good enough i live in south eastern pa so i have the thermo bypass to but dont think it will be needed
