Injector O-ring replacement
I bought another Powerstroke this weekend, extended cab short bed, kingpin Dana 60, 35's Powerstroke, intake , exhaust, ts chip, stage 1 injectors, adrenaline hpop , dominator 66 turbo, south bend double disc clutch. 5 speed traction bars.
I plan on switching the turbo, injectors and pump with the stock parts on my 97. Most of the parts have about 50k miles. Should I replace the o rings on the injectors, or will the be orings be reusable if I lube them up? I think there about $8 an injector, I just would rather not spend extra $64 on each truck if it's not neccesary. Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app |

I apologize for the hyjack in advance....I had my injectors rebuild by rosewood and after the install i have found that there is fuel getting into my oiling system. Could I have possibly bit an o-ring when doing the install and thats whats causing the cross contamination of fluids in my engine?
*not complaining about the injector rebuild, just trying to figure out where the issue is. Again, sorry for hyjacking your thread, maybe this will help answer your question as well on what you should do about your o-rings |
