A good triple disc converter?
Well I smoked my trans yesterday plowing snow. Getting it rebuilt by a local shop. Looking at putting a triple disc converter in it. The trans is being upgraded at same time. Who makes a good one that will hold up to some abuse but doesn't cost more than my truck is worth? Thanks in advance

BTS uses the PI Stallion I believe. Partner that with a BTS valvebody and you should have a nice trans.

Roadrunner builds good converters. Running one in my truck right now.
They're local to me. I watched them build it. Top notch folks. They build a fully billet converter similar to the stallion with a similar price, unless you're making 600hp the towmaster or the triple clutch will work great. |

I would say either DPC (diesel performance converters) or pi stallion. These are what are usually run on high trucks and a proven to hold up.
