Best custom tunes for a 1996 f250 2wd

Hey guys,

I'm deciding to go the custom route rather the canned tunes for my pickup.
I really just want better economy and performance for my truck and longevity is what I'm going after. My dad bought it new and I'd like to keep up the good care he left to me. I'm keeping injectors stock. Straight piped, and B&S intake.

I will get the proper gauges as well.

My question is:

which is "the best" or what worked the best tune-wise?(beans, ts, etc)

Also I want to get a turbo rebuild kit and 1.0" housing(if anyone can offer tips or advice would be great)

Thanks for the help!
