Help with SCT Programmer

I have a 96 Ford F350 7.3L and recently purchased a SCT Programmer; the iTSX 4015 is the model.

SCT is saying I have to purchase custom tunes for my truck. Does anyone know who / where I can get these custom tunes. Its my understanding that they can be emailed to you after purchase. I am having a hard time finding anyone who has them available.

I did retrieve the Strategy Code from the programmer. Any help would be appreciated.

I can, Bill at PHP can, pretty sure Matt at Gearhead can, might try Eric at Innovative, Vivian at Quick Tricks. But you will prolly have to email any and all of us to order the tunes, simply because the SCT isn't really the best option for the 7.3 and most don't have info up on their website about it.

Thanks for the response. Do I email you thru your site Total diesel performance with the strategy code and truck info?

It might be a little to late now, but what programmer would have been a better choice for my truck?

Would the X3 from SCT be a better option, because I may be able to trade it in due to the SCT is having trouble with the blue tooth on the iTSX.

nope... SCT's are generally used for 6.0L trucks... for a 7.3L 99.9% of people run a custom tuned chip......

The SCT iTSX was recommended to us from someone. We are completely new at this. Thank you for your knowledge.

We had a BD Diesel Performance chip in the truck prior; however, was wanting more variety and thought a programmer would be the way to go.

Now we are being told by SCT that we need to find someone who can email us a custom tune/tunes to be uploaded. So we are on the hunt for ppl that can provide us that.

its unfortunate that someone would recommend something that is not the best thing for your truck... i would recommend contacting tony through his site... he can make you some custom tunes for your truck... but... if you can get a refund and just purchase a custom tuned chip that would be the best way to go.....
