im puzzled, its a 97 7.3 out of an E350 van, also i just got the 6637 filter, any idea where to get hose or something to make it work?

By the fact this is out of a van, the intake tubes are different. U will need a set up out out of a truck. I may have it laying around if your are interested

pm sent, would the turbo and everything still be the same?

basically, the van turbo frame is the same but it actually flows a bit more then a truck turbo.

That box almost just looks like some kind of silencer for intake noise, and might be the main reason you don't hear much whistling, find a intake system off a truck and add the 6637 and that might cure your problem.

thats what im thinking, because it is empty inside, talking to ole blue about a setup, but i bought the 6637 this morning

Once you get the setup, all you need is a 45° exhaust or pvc elbow to adapt it to the stock intake tube.

i took off the reg air box and the other box and started it, still no whistle what so ever
