HPOP Blow-out!!!!


Has anyone ever had a T-500 (or any HPOP) blow out on them? I had a T-500 HPOP installed for exactly 7.35 min. on my truck. After the install The truck was started, ran/idled strong. After warm-up and leak-check the truck was idled up and suddenly started running horrible and when was checked under the hood the HPOP was blowing oil out of the rear plug held in with the snap-ring. WT Heck happened?


Anyone??

'95 7.3 crew cab, Dyna 60 fnt/60 rear
E4OD Auto Slush-box
6 Pos. TS chip,
3" turbo oulet/down pipe,
twin 5" stacks,
custom 1/4" plate winch bumper
w/12000lb Hyd. winch,
3 guage A piller cluster,
Banks 1.00 turbine houseing and compressor wheel,
T-500 HPOP,
DIY 50+HP injectors,
High Pressure Oil X-Flow line,
Hadley air horns and air comp.

Damn sorry to hear this. This is the first failure that I know about with the T-500. Time to call the company and demand a new one.

-twin on-board air w/ 10 gal. tank

-Oh, and a 2015 F350 6.7L DRW 4x4

Re-pinning '97 Cali PCM to Federal

Ya, they said exactly the same thing about the failure! i'm waiting to hear back from them now.

Ive heard of this failure in the SRP1.1 but not a t500

FRANK THE TANK
DIY INTAKE - HYDRA CHIP - MARTY'S E-FUEL - 250/200s
05 AXLE SWAP 3.73 - 2.5" PURE PERF. LIFT COILS - FOX SHOCKS
BTS TRANS - TYMAR DOWN PIPE - 4" EXHAUST
Waiting To Be Installed... gtx4294r, studs, springs, HPOP?

Yes he did! the new pump came with a differant style back plate and it works great! I now have a fully functioning truck and am planning on driving it across country! 6145 miles round trip for the holidays this christmas!
