17* hpop

i know there is many threads on it all ready but if i can get a 17* hpop for 200+shipping is it worth it? my truck has on it gauges 3"dp to 4" straight back cold air intake and a ts chip?

Will i see a increase in hp torque and mpg's and is 200 a good price???

decent price.. what kind is it and from where? A brand new TE T500 hpop can be had for $500.

for a mostly stock truck, very little gains you will notice. Our single shot injectors aren't very hungry. But the 17* will smooth the truck a little bit.

i believe it is a stock one out of a 01 super duty but i could be wrong on that and i do have a wish list going for injectors and e fuel and a inter-cooler turbo and a rebuilt trans.

If thats all your doing, save the money. stock hpop is fine to stage II's.

Very minute increases... probably in overall smoothness is all you will see. Our stock 15* pumps are fine with our stock singleshots.

The stock 15 is very iffy if it will ruin stage twos ok if the pump is any where near weak stage ones will whimp it a** IMHO hell my is a 15 and it barley wants to run my stock injectors and chip but of coarse I have some other little problems to take care of before ruling it as a bad pump

a stock 15* will fire stage 1's without one problem... stage ii's can be pulled off, but its just not recommended.

if you are to go to a higher performance hpop is there any issues with oil temps? because the higher the pressure the higher the temps right?

Not really. Oil temps aren't really an issue with these motors at all; especially having the oil coolers.
