Talking Looking to give the ole girl new lung and heart

SO as stated i am thinking on doing a new d66 from beans for her lung and an adrenaline hpop and new ipr for her heart (all at once). And am wondering if any gains will be seen with the stock sticks and my php chip? I have plans for stage 1.5 from rosewood in the near future along with e-fuel. One of my biggest reason for the turbo, is my turbo is only pushing 12 psi at wot and the fins looked like the turbo ate some gravel at on time.

It should do just fine till u get the 1.5s in there. It may be a tad laggy tho. Thats a lot more turbo to spin with the same fuel. Once u put the new turbo on, get bill to re burn your chip for the mods and that will help.

As for the hpop, sounds like a plan, a lot of us run a t500 as they are a tad cheeper but that is still a great hpop. Either pump should do just fine with with thoes injectors.

I'll be the bad guy and say no to the turbo. The D66 has a 1.20 housing that the stock sticks will have trouble spinning below 2k. Tuning should help but rebuilding the turbo and replacing the wheel is in the neighborhood of $250. I cruise on the low side of the power band and didn't like the D66. Took me one week to decide to down the truck again for stage 2's. I'll say rebuild the turbo till you can do the injectors at the same time.

I thought i would be laggy, didnt think it would be that bad. So X2 on turbo and sticks at the same time

Well after seeing I have a major major up pipe leak I think I may go ahead and and do hpop and 1.5 first and then turbo later as I will probably regain a lot of my boost my only regret on injectors is my worry it has s***tolite glow plugs for the past two years thinking about taking it in to have glow plugs replace so if they break em they can take care of it lol (hopefully)

If the impeller is pretty F-ed the "re-tooled" impeller for the 2nd gen power strokes is a throwback to ours. Hear it goes right in to your housing. About $100 or call Bean's and see if you can have one out of his trash

Well the fins ain't as bad as I last pictured them but the tips are nicked up pretty good and one has a chip on the fin

Did you check for any boost leak 12psi at wot is pretty low.....
