Is $229 for a TS 6-pos w/ TS tunes a good deal?

I have an opportunity to get a TS 6-pos chip with TS tunes (stock, high idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, and 140 extreme) for $229. It isn't from a private seller, it's from a vendor. I'm just wondering if you guys think that is a good deal and what you think of TS's chips and tunes. I think I read that most tuners can program a TS chip, so if I hate the tunes I should be able to have Tony or somebody else write on my chip, right?

Did it come with tunes? Would you mind sharing where you got it? Are you happy with it?

They have too much personal stuff going on. I want to be able to contact my tuner when I'm having issues. I was going to go with PHP a while back, but not anymore.

With a OBS you can't get more than 40-50HP with anyones chip on a 48 state truck as the inj's only flow 98cc's.

So get a TS chip..they come with tunes and once you deside to get larger Inj's get custom.

TW IMO best tuner for a 7.3..

I'm bias as I have only had Beans tunes. I know that there are other tuners out there and I have no degrading opinion on their work. Beans tunes work "pretty" good on the first shipment but I did have to send it back several times to get the truck running the way I wanted it. Tuners here in So.Cal are either looking to sell their own proprietary chip or are Chevy lovers. After about a month and a half of back and forth (which was patients testing as it took a week for the chip to move round trip), they had great service and I started only dealing with the Owner Ryan. So far all the re-burns have been free. When I start pushing my truck further forward I think that I will start using Cary at CT_Performance as he is a lot closer to me then most anyone else.

Truck runs REAL strong but I keep blowing up trannies and haven't gotten her on a dyno for actual numbers.
