trans cooler

I am not happy with the temps on my Auto trans,so I want a larger cooler,what are you guys using?

1997 F-350 CC Dually Power Hungry performance chip. DIY air intake ,4" Diamond Eye exhaust, Trans temp gauge,Pyrometer gauge 10,000 Lb. Warn Winch, 1 million candle power auxilary lights,black heavy diamond plate bumper/brushguard

I'm using a Tru-Cool Max 47391, and a PML Trans Pan, which holds a couple more quarts....this combo seems to do real well....

Full Force 180cc Stage I's, D66, SRP-1.1, ARP, Banks IC, DIY E-Fuel, EBPV Del & Gut'd Ped., BD Exhaust Brake., SD IDM, HPX, BstFoolr, 4" DP - 4" exh,
6.0 Fan, 180 T-Stat, DIY Don.105006 AF, CCV Mod, BTS, W/ SD Trans Lines, Tru-Cool Max, PML Trans Pan, Bumper Mod, IssPro Gauges, Fluidampr, Mellings LPOP.....

You can also get a Super Duty V10 trans cooler to fit up front behind your bumper, that will help bring the temps down some.

I'm using a tru-cool 40k cooler with a Pml pan. The highest temp I've seen was 180* towing 13K up 8% grades in triple digit heat.

See my sig. If you're gonna tow frequently, consider a 6.0 cooler or the 40k GVW tru cool; otherwise, my 30k suits me well (have trans gauge, just want to upgrade - that's why sig says gauges)

What does that have to do with and automatic trans cooler.
