exhaust 4 inch or 5

well looking into putting exhaust on the truck diamond eye seems to get the best reviews so i think im going to go with them going with a 3 inch down pipe for sure but i dont know what form there either 4 inch or 5 inch is there any benifit of 5 inch will it sound any deeper i dont plan on making crazy power just want to hear it when i step on it i do have a lift to make the install eaiser ive herd of some guys having problems with the 5 inch going over the rear axle any one else herd of this

5" straight pipe sounds awsome, that's what I have, but, the turbo whistle is really starting to get on my nerves. Both of my dad's trucks have 4" with a muffler and they don't sound too bad, quieter, but still can be loud if you want to. I have read where the 5" can be a tight squeeze, but I have a 45 gal. rear tank and it fits with that in there, it is tight, but if it can fit with that I don't see how you would have any issues. I didn't install my exhaust either, so I don't know how hard it is to make it fit, I did both exhaust systems on my dad's and they were a piece of cake.

no advantage to 5", just a deeper sound... and yes, they are a b***h to fit in and you have to remove your spare tire

well i wanna hear the turbo whistle so with a 4 inch straight pipe i would think it would be fairly loud plus i would like to keep the spair tire there cause its a pain in the bed

I went with the 5" diamond eye. Dont see were their is gonna be any issue's with the spare. Very nice product and easy to install.

My 5" rips... I love it. I have a 6" lift and a 33" spare tire underbed, and my 5" fits. Just barely, but it fits.

We just put a turbo back 4" Diamond Eye no muffler / cat delete and we love it.

i have the 5" on mine and love it! my truck doesnt have a spare tire under it so idk about that, looks like theres room to put it up

I wish i would have went with a 5'' with 6'' tip! the 4 to 5 just looks too small behind the tire
