i belive its the same as the 10k mod... all it does is fool the computer into boosting your HPOP oil pressure to give you a bit more fuel. doesnt do that much but if you cant afford a chip then give it a shot. just be very careful as if you place the resistor in the wrong spots, you can burn stuff up. look up PHP as there custom tunes on a TS 6 position chip is only $295
edit.... lookin it it, its plug and play but seems to do the same as on resistor that costs less then $1.00 and that thing is $100, just save up and get a real chip |

i have a chip i was just wondering lol

If you have a chip its pointless. Its a boost fooler, thats all.
It's not a boost fooler. It is a resistor that is set between the PCM and ICP sensor. It limits the signal that the PCM gets so that the PCM only sees less ICP than the actual. So it will boost the IPR duty cycle to raise the ICP to what it wants to "see." Because the actual ICP is correct, it gets raised above original levels and helps in atomization and what not.

And is there any point in that when tuned?
No because tuning changes true ICP demands of the PCM, not just fool it. Running both can damage things and be detrimental to the system.

thank your for the information, thought things where slightly fishy when it said you can put a chip on it too

Ya thats what I thought. So it's not a "boost fooler".... it's an "icp fooler" lol
