IC or D66

I'm looking to add some power to my '97 with Tymar Intake, stock injectors, DP Tuner and straight pipe with Diamond Eye down pipe however I'm worried about too much stress on the engine since it has nearly 300k miles.

I've heard that Banks IC adds like 50 hp and lowers egts but I was looking at the D66 turbo instead to get some extra push. Any ideas on which I should get first since if purchasing both is not an economic possibility at the time?

D66 turbo isn't going to do you a bit of good if you don't have bigger injectors to spool it up. You can do a DIY intercooler set up much cheaper than a banks kit, I've got about $400 in mine.

You'll never be able to lite up a d66 with stock injectors, and the stock turbo is nowhere near lit with stock injectors. Horse before the carriage, my friend.

I highly doubt that you gain 50hp from an IC... but I suppose it's possible since cold air is more dense, hence more powerful. The banks IC is a great piece, but very pricey.
