How fast have you guys had your OBS trucks going?

Just curious. My cousin inspired me to ask because he's always bragging about how awesome his 12v is, and yesterday he informed me of how he topped his out...



.... going 80mph. I laughed. He asked what my stroker will go, and I told him I hit 120mph once racing a 2006 honda civic. He said "oh you must have higher gears made for mileage".


He nearly poohed himself when I told him I have 410's.

My fully modded '97 12v 5spd only hit 90-95mph with a LOT of road. Just curious what others have ran.

Hit 85, she could keep going but didnt feel comfortable on the road I was on. Plus stopping her if something jumped in front of me....wouldnt have happened.

Not the fastest I've been, but with something this big...as fast as I wanna go lol

What's the difference...it's just gear ratios. Mine will go much faster then the speedo allows with 4.10 gear and little 285's

I hear that.. I had worn out 33's that were trashed when doing it and it was pretty scary handling and stopping.

I had 33's on when I did my 120mph run too.

I don't see whats the difference in bragging about top speed. It's a truck not a track car.

I made an inquiry, not a braggart statement.


If anything, where I was going with this is useable RPMS and power-curve, not who's faster.

Don't know how fast it will go never had it over 85mph,Now my vette is different,171 mph on a track in Savannah. felt like I was in a video game.
