eBay inter coolers?
So I was looking on eBay and I saw that they had "DIY intercooler kits", and was wondering if they are worth the money and if anyone has one on their OBS.

who is the seller? do you have the listing off hand? btw there is one company selling a kit and another member did a write up on it in the general section if you care to search, it's CXRacing IIRC the kit that was used installed and a pretty good review on it as well

They arent any good.
Run a quality intercooler. Ebay IC's cant even handle short bursts in turbo'd imports w/o sky rocketing IAT's. Friend of mine has a lower/mid 10 second 3000gt and his intake temps increase 100* in that single pass. Treadstone makes quality cores that dont break the bank. Jason |

in my opinion, it really depends. I've seen some pretty decently made ebay IC's... but theres also some really crappy ones. Often times they need modifications to work in your application also.
