6.0 intercooler for 7.3

I found an intercooler from an 05 6.0, and I'm looking to put it on my 95 7.3. It has the tubing from the 6.0 still. What am I going to need to make this work?

6.0 IC will work great, 6.0 tubes wont work.

You will need either an E-99 intake spider along with custom pipes (7.3 hot and cold pipes can work when modded) or a custom after market IC pipe system. Those arent cheap, but are bolt on. If you have a welder and the ability you could fab your own pipes.

Its not a bolt in mod unless you go with an aftermarket kit...

even those need the core support cut tho, nothing is bolt in but the 6.0 ic is only thing you can use

What makes you say that?? I have seen plenty 7.3 IC's in obs trucks.

even the aftermarket kits need to cut the core supports so they are not truly a bolt in is what kris is saying

So is there a kit available for all the plumbing if I pick up a 6.0 intercooler. I can get a cooler pretty cheap from a local salvage yard.

not that i know of. you can either by the banks stuff new i would guess it would be pricey, you can find it used (that's what i did), or you can use an E99 spyder and fab your own pipes get custom made, pipes, or rework the E99 pipes to fit
