Muffler

Hey all! I've been looking around and maybe I am just blind, but I can't seem to find just a muffler for my '95 7.3L. I am really just looking for a 3inch muffler to go with my stock pipe. I hollowed out my cat and now want an after market muffler for sound and HP. Eventually I will get a down pipe. Do you all have recommendations for a muffler or where I could just purchase a muffler only?

You could get a 4" and get two reducers. Just a thought. I imagine that a 4" muffler would be available.

A Walker BTM would work. I know they make a 3.5 and 4.
I though stock exhaust was 3.5 on an OBS also?

Factory exhaust is 3.5" (after the bell out just after the CAT flange). Cheers!

Flowmaster sells just a diesel muffler. suppose to sound good.

OBS do come with 3.5" exhaust stock. A muffler sounds like **** on a diesel anyway.. just straight pipe it. IF you MUST got with a muffler, go with Walker or MBRP no doubt about it.

Thanks all! I live in Colorado and I don't know for sure if I need a muffler for emissions! I doubt I do, does anyone know? And ya, a buddy of mine told me it was a 3inch but it looked bigger than that, my bad! haha. It's a 3.5inch. Is a muffler required for emissions? Because if not, hell, i am just going to straight pipe it.

I dont know CO laws... I want to say they dont emissions test, but I could be wrong.

Not for emissions but probably required for safety inspection. You should go 4 inch exhaust if you need a muffler.
