Alright fellas, I'm about to pull the trigger on modding the old girl. DIY 6637 and exhaust I have covered. I keep leaning towards this chip.
Anyone have one, or know anything about them? I like that you don't have to remove the chip for new tunes, and the trial tune option. Truck is my daily driver, and weekend race car hauler. Thoughts? |

Nobody has The DP F6?

The search feature is your friend, there are hundreds/thousands of threads about chips, i just ordered my php chip and its sitting at home cant wait to put it in

I wouldn't have posted this if I hadn't already searched for it. I haven't seen anything on this particular chip.

Then dont do it. Stick with something more well known. If you can afford it, do Beans. If not, Tony Wildman.

for me, it came down to the fact that nobody except DP can tune their chip, as it's a proprietary chip...and there are MANY tuners that can tune the "TS Performance" chip.....I'm running Tony Wildman's tunes, (and they are generally recognized to be one of the very best), and I'm VERY happy with them....
Call "OBSWIZ" he can burn TW's tunes for you... Cary @ CT Performance : 775-835-3569 |

DP has some great tunes. I have been running a F6 on my 00 for a few years and will eventually get one for my OBS too.

hey JS....I didn't say he didn't have good tunes, I said he was the only one who could tune that chip.....
and you oughta put some bigger squirters in that thing of yours, it'd probably run a lot better, you've got everything else already done..... |

I'm not arguing that, just giving my opinion on DP. They have great tunes, but should have handled some electrical issues better. As for the copy protection, that's just a minor speedbump.
![]() Still have a few more things to do to the 00 before I put in bigger squirters. I like to have all my bases covered before doing those kind of upgrades. Just as I addressed the unit bearings and brakes before upgrading the tires, I will do studs, rods and springs before injectors. Would be a bit closer if I didn't have a D60 in the mail for my 95/

Thanks! Glad to hear it from someone who actually has one. I saw mixed reviews on here, but none from people who owned it, it has all been hearsay.
