Add-A-Leaf w/ Bronco Leaf Springs

Looking to get a slight lift out of the front spring pack, i'll be locating a bronco parts rig to upgrade the fuel tank to a larger capacity so I figure I'll pull the springs too and use them as an add-a-leaf. Has anyone had much success with this mod? Did you end up running a 3-pack or 4-pack in the front?

elmo (fordman247365) on here used the bottom spring from the rear of a 250 and bolted it to the bottom of his current pack and gained i think he said 1.5 in in the front. I don't know if the bronco rear spring pack would share the same bottom spring, but something to look into. he is running 3 leaves in his pack. His is also a 350, if you do it on a ttb you may run into camber problems

right on, i run across the older 250s every once and a while too. Actually had an 89 i parted out a month before I bought my truck and am kicking myself for all the spare parts i could have saved off it. I know they sell an add-a-leaf that achieves the same lift, i just hate spending money on things that i can hold out for and get for free.
