thinking about getting intercooler?

im thinking about getting an intercooler...

whats a good place to get one for a good price?

can i put it on with what my truck has done to it now or is that a bad idea?

1996 F-350 crew cab long box, 4x4 auto trans with about 14k on rebuild, 175k on the truck and motor, 3in. down pipe to straight 4in. coming out in front of rear tire, moto metal wheels, 265/75-17 cooper stt's, plug in edge programmer

There are two ways to do this. One is to buy a kit which is like $1200+ or you can assemble your own kit. You can get a used 7.3 super duty intercooler and get custom intercooler pipes made which are $200 and then use an E99 intake spyder.


2001 F-250 Lariat CCSB, 4x4, ZF6 249k, 6.5" Procomp lift, 37" Toyo M/T's, 20" Fuel Hostages. PIS 160/30's, PHP Hydra, 6637, 4" exhaust, Tank mods, ISSPRO's, 08+ mirrors/tailgate/tail lights, M12000 winch.
