i have a 95 f250 i just put a new starter solenoid on the starter and on the fire wall. also put a new battery cable on it also a new starter thingy under the dash.

and now the problem is that it won't stop cranking even when the key is off and with every wire unhooked from the solenoid on the firewall every time i touch jumper cables to the batteries it will start cranking. i have had several local mechanics look at the truck and no one can figure out why it is doing it can any one help me!!!!!! i am in desperate need

Replace the solenoid and get the starter checked. Have you tapped the starter or anything? It's like the same thing as when a truck wont crank and you tap the solenoid with a hammer. Those things get stuck sometimes but since they're new i'd bet its one of those if it was fine before.

Also check to make sure the large hot wire into the back of the starter solenoid isn't touching the smaller wire on the solenoid. When they do touch it will jump the starter.
