edge cs/ cts

Hey looking at getting a set of gauges and seen the edge stuff, i have seen alot of bad things about edge and was curious about the cs or cts. My truck is a 97 f250 7.3 psd and am wanting to get a Dp Tuner eventually but have to take baby steps, how would the edge be as far as the programmer part also ? Not looking for a ton of power just at little to help with pulling, my truck is an auto if that helps you any. I just figured for now the edge could serve as my gauges plus programmer.

idk how well it will work for you i know some tuners can write custom tunes for the edge for the 7.3s you just need to source them out as far as the cts its a nice setup i can get the cts with egt probe for $479 its a nice monitor idk if its worth it to get since you can get 3 gauges and a 3pillar gauge for $330 and then custom chip
